The purpose of this website is to showcase my ministry project portfolio, but if you would like more information about my professional work history, please see my LinkedIn profile.
Created a modern, responsive website for use by the ministry as a means of communication that would scale between mobile and desktop visitors. Helped AWC create a PayPal account to enable both one-time and recurring online donations. Set up email accounts branded with the new domain name. Currently providing free HTTPS website hosting for the ministry.
Part of a team that designed and developed a website for Dr. John Whitcomb which provided informative articles and an online store through which supporters could purchase his materials. (Subsequently redesigned.) Helped establish the ministry's SermonAudio and Facebook pages. Currently sending newsletters for Dr. and Mrs. Whitcomb, and hosting FTP and SFTP sites thar are used to collaborate with radio stations and audio editors.
Took over the radio station which was locally hosted on struggling hardware, and migrated it to a stable cloud-based server with increased network bandwidth. Reorganized the selection of available songs, loaded new content, and managed the payment of music royalty fees. Increased the number of online radio station directories which listed Abiding Radio, and improved its ranking in those directories. After the radio station was sold to another ministry in 2013, I worked with the new owner to migrate from Windows to a new Linux based hosting solution.
Assisted with trimming and uploading hundreds of recordings to SermonAudio.com so that the testimonies and sermons which were already being broadcast over the radio could be heard around the world on the Internet as well. Updated website content for the church, and enabled online giving through PayPal. Also helped to get God's Glory in Clay Pots, a book co-authored by Dr. Sam Horn and Dr. Les Ollila, onto the Amazon marketplace for distribution.
Updated the contact form to include a recaptcha widget in order to prevent spam and robot form submissions. Currently providing free HTTPS website hosting for this ministry.
Missionary Phil Hunt wanted to create a video which would highlight the today's broken process of deputation and the burden it places on missionaries trying to reach the field. He provided the text for the script, and I was able to put together this sample test animation through the use of GoAnimate.com. (GoAnimate has since disabled public viewing of the video I created during the free trial, but if you're interested in seeing it I can log in and show it to you.)
After working in the church soundbooth and authoring several wedding video DVDs, I was glad to be given the opportunity to create the 30 second intro and extro clips for the church's television broadcasts. The clips were televised with Calvary's sermons on WVCY-TV 30 in Milwaukee WI for several years, and were recently replaced with clips that feature updated video, but seem to keep the same voiceover and background music.
Created the first version of the school's website (subsequently redesigned), designed an ad which ran in the Christian Business Directory, set up a CafePress store to sell merchandise branded with the school's logo, and assisted in getting a quality vinyl bumper sticker printed and distributed to parents of current students.
